How to Pop Camo, Lead, Purple, and DDTs in BTD6

Most confusing leaks in BTD6 are not caused by low damage. They happen because the defense is missing visibility, the right damage type, or both at the same time.

CamoCamo
LeadLead
PurplePurple
DDTDDT

Quick answer

Camo needs detection or decamo. Lead needs compatible damage. Purple needs non-magic, non-fire, non-plasma damage. DDTs combine camo, lead, black-bloon traits, high speed, and MOAB-class health.

  • For early camo: Ninja Monkey, Enhanced Eyesight Dart Monkey, or Radar Scanner.
  • For early lead: Bomb Shooter, Full Metal Jacket Sniper, Hot Shot Buccaneer, or Alchemist support.
  • For purple: keep physical, explosive, or bullet damage behind magic or plasma setups.

Do not solve every leak with more damage

If a tower cannot target camo, extra attack speed does not matter. If the damage type cannot hurt lead or purple, more pierce does not solve the property check. Ask what rule is blocking the hit before buying another expensive upgrade.

DDTs need a combined answer

DDTs are dangerous because several rules arrive together. A clean DDT plan usually includes camo detection, lead-compatible damage, speed control, and enough MOAB-class damage to finish the blimp layer before it exits.

FAQ

Common follow-up questions

What is the easiest way to pop camo in BTD6?

The easiest beginner answer is usually Ninja Monkey because it sees camo by default. Radar Scanner is better when a whole tower cluster needs detection.

Why do DDTs leak even when I have strong towers?

DDTs often leak because the setup is missing camo detection, lead-compatible damage, speed control, or enough MOAB-class damage at the same time.
